Rixos Almaty is Kazakhstan’s premier hotel that offers genuine Central Asian hospitality. Located at the heart of Almaty’s “Golden Square,” the five-star hotel is close to the city’s most popular cafes and restaurants, nightclubs, shopping malls, designer boutiques and cultural attractions.

The hotel’s main lobby is topped by a vast glass roof, which lets in natural light and gives the area a warm, bright glow. The neo-classical architecture blends with Ottoman-style interior design, a reflection of the history and location of the country at the heart of Central Asia.

Manned by friendly multilingual staff fluent in Kazakh, Russian and English, Rixos Almaty has seven floors of guest rooms, a business center, pool, gym and spa, which is noteworthy because it reflects the Anatolian origin of the Rixos Group. The spa features extensive floor space with a Turkish bath, saunas, steam rooms and massage rooms.

The hotel’s signature restaurant, The Brasserie, offers Continental, Kazakh and Asian Cuisine to suit every palette.

With more than two million inhabitants, Almaty is Kazakhstan’s most populous city and center of trade and commerce. It was stop in the Silk Road, the ancient trade route between Urumqi in China and Istanbul in Turkey. Almaty is also flanked by the Tian-Shian Mountains, which has made the city popular among skiers.

Rixos Almaty also launched a new service for tourists and business travelers looking for various travel experiences. Almaty Adventures offers different packages, such golf tips, eagle hunting, horseback riding and even premium helicopter tours across the city.

“Almaty Adventures is Rixos’ way of promoting the region. We started the program a few years ago to provide guests more options to maximize their time in Almaty. The city has a lot of authentic places to offer, but are yet underserved. We want Rixos Almaty to be a one-stop shop for premium quality experiential, gastronomic and recreational tours,” said General Manager Makhmut Zharimbetov.

“Our guests have easy walking access to all of what Almaty has to offer. Realizing that Almaty’s tourist potential has yet to be fully developed, we decided to launch the Almaty Adventures. When my guests leave the hotel, I want them to remember their experience not just of Rixos, but of the entire city and the region,” Zharimbetov added.

“Japanese business travelers have enjoyed their stay at our hotel and we are excited to receive more of them in the future. We are aware of the kind of service they expect, and we want to assure them that they will experience the spirit of omotenashi here at Rixos Almaty,” he also said.
