<p>According to data from Founder Institute, the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator, entrepreneurs from Texas have the highest emotional stability based on a survey pooled from more than 30,000 entrepreneurs in more than 100 cities worldwide.</p>
<p>Particularly when compared to their peers in other U.S. tech hubs, Texans have scored 16% higher on Emotional Stability than their counterparts in Silicon Valley, 14% higher than those in New York, 19% higher than in Los Angeles, and 12.7% higher than in Boston.</p>
<p><strong> </strong><strong>Favorable business environment</strong></p>
<p>Miami-based fintech company WalletHub names Texas as the best place to start a business based on the number of highly-skilled and engaged workers available in the state. From 2021 to 2022, the number of small businesses grew 11%.</p>
<p>WalletHub also cites Texas’ lower cost of living relative to the East and West Coasts, affordable office spaces, and its geographical location as factors that make the Lone Star State ideal for building a new business.</p>

<p>For Salinas, the city is a “very spirited town and an exciting and beautiful place to both live in and do business.” It is home to 2,086 businesses and a labor force of 22,632 people.</p>
<p>“As a community, we’re very entrepreneurial in nature, family-oriented, and open to everyone,” Salinas told GMI POST.</p>
<p>Kerrville, the official capital of Texas Hill Country, has a well-educated workforce, which is a major point of attraction for most investors. 35.88% of the population in Kerrville has an associate's degree or higher and 90.55% has a high school degree.</p>
<p>“We’ve recruited some major projects and also fostered the growth of small business, primarily due to our proximity to San Antonio and Austin metros, our skilled labor force and most importantly, our pro-business climate,” Salinas said.</p>
<p>The executive director says another factor that makes Kerrville attractive is its easy access to transportation hubs. There are 12 airports within 50 miles of Kerrville, which include Kerrville-Kerr County Airport, and the San Antonio International Airport. And just 90 minutes down the road is the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at the state’s capitol.</p>
<p>Health care, craft agriculture, and food and hospitality services are some of the city’s most valuable industries. Meanwhile, for tourists who want to experience the city’s natural wonders, Salinas boasts the pristine Guadalupe river, which runs through the city and hosts world-class river trail parks and amenities.</p>
<p>“We would love to have the opportunity to build new cultural and business relationships,” Salinas said, encouraging foreign investors to put interest in the said city.</p>
<p>“With Kerrville, businesses have the opportunity to grow. We value relationships and don’t take these investments for granted. And as the city continues to grow, so will its resources to support and give back to its industries,” he said.</p>',

<p>Designed to maximize hydrocarbon recovery, Smith explained that “through NCA’s nanoActiv® solutions, energy companies can effectively enhance and improve oil recovery and production, and enable the action of other oilfield chemistries such as surfactants, inhibitors, dispersants, friction reducers, and polymers.”</p>
<p>“There's nothing like it in the entire world. In fact, Nissan Chemical America started this whole nanotechnology movement in the oil and gas industry,” he added.</p>
<p>NCA has consistently received phenomenal support from both the city of Laporte and the state level as well, according to Smith. He says the company’s success is only possible because NCA is able to combine the best from both America and Japan, which he highlights is a product of years of trust and mutual respect between both countries.</p>

<p>Under the JSA signed on February 8, 2023, the three partners have agreed to explore the prospect of developing an integrated blue and green ammonia production facility in the Port of Corpus Christi. Blue and green ammonia are entirely renewable and its production is carbon-free.</p>
<p>The proposed project will bring together the considerable expertise and resources of the three industry leaders to produce up to 10 million tons of clean ammonia per year. Mitsubishi Corp, RWE, and Lotte Chemical Corp aim to start production and international export, with a focus on Asia and Europe, by 2030.</p>
<p>In a <a href="https://www.mitsubishicorp.com/jp/en/pr/archive/2023/html/0000050759.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">press release</a>, Mitsubishi says it plans to introduce the use of clean ammonia as fuel in Japan by combining its vast knowledge in the field of ammonia and its experience in setting up global energy supply chains. It will later look into such clean energy opportunities globally.</p>
<p>The Port of Corpus Christi is the largest port in the United States based on total revenue tonnage and the U.S.’ largest energy export gateway.</p>',

<p>Toyota, <a href="https://pressroom.toyota.com/toyota-observes-world-water-day/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in a statement released on March 22,</a> said it recognized the importance of water and the resource was one of its four environmental sustainability focus areas. The carmaker’s water use strategy emphasizes “stewardship,” adding that the use of water must be socially equitable, environmentally sustainable, and economically beneficial.</p>
<p>According to Toyota, it can achieve sustainable water use and management through a process that involves all stakeholders in its on-site and watershed-based actions. Toyota also pointed out it works closely with local environmental groups to protect water quality.</p>
<p>The Japanese company’s commitment to excellent water stewardship is be summarized in 4Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Restore, and Reach Out. <p>Particularly when compared to their peers in other U.S. tech hubs, Texans have scored 16% higher on Emotional Stability than their counterparts in Silicon Valley, 14% higher than those in New York, 19% higher than in Los Angeles, and 12.7% higher than in Boston.</p>

<p>Miami-based fintech company WalletHub names Texas as the best place to start a business based on the number of highly-skilled and engaged workers available in the state. From 2021 to 2022, the number of small businesses grew 11%.</p>

<p>For Salinas, the city is a “very spirited town and an exciting and beautiful place to both live in and do business.” It is home to 2,086 businesses and a labor force of 22,632 people.</p>
<p>“As a community, we’re very entrepreneurial in nature, family-oriented, and open to everyone,” Salinas told GMI POST.</p>
<p>Kerrville, the official capital of Texas Hill Country, has a well-educated workforce, which is a major point of attraction for most investors. 35.88% of the population in Kerrville has an associate's degree or higher and 90.55% has a high school degree.</p>
<p>“We’ve recruited some major projects and also fostered the growth of small business, primarily due to our proximity to San Antonio and Austin metros, our skilled labor force and most importantly, our pro-business climate,” Salinas said.</p>
<p>The executive director says another factor that makes Kerrville attractive is its easy access to transportation hubs. There are 12 airports within 50 miles of Kerrville, which include Kerrville-Kerr County Airport, and the San Antonio International Airport. And just 90 minutes down the road is the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at the state’s capitol.</p>
<p>Health care, craft agriculture, and food and hospitality services are some of the city’s most valuable industries. Meanwhile, for tourists who want to experience the city’s natural wonders, Salinas boasts the pristine Guadalupe river, which runs through the city and hosts world-class river trail parks and amenities.</p>
<p>“We would love to have the opportunity to build new cultural and business relationships,” Salinas said, encouraging foreign investors to put interest in the said city.</p>
<p>“With Kerrville, businesses have the opportunity to grow. We value relationships and don’t take these investments for granted. And as the city continues to grow, so will its resources to support and give back to its industries,” he said.</p>',

<p>“Creating a totally original technology, from concept to full-scale development and marketing, is the most exciting thing I've done in my professional career,” Smith said, emphasizing that the nanoActiv® solutions are an original technology developed by NCA and are the only engineered nanoparticle products used in the oil and gas industry today.</p>
<p>Designed to maximize hydrocarbon recovery, Smith explained that “through NCA’s nanoActiv® solutions, energy companies can effectively enhance and improve oil recovery and production, and enable the action of other oilfield chemistries such as surfactants, inhibitors, dispersants, friction reducers, and polymers.”</p>
<p>“There's nothing like it in the entire world. In fact, Nissan Chemical America started this whole nanotechnology movement in the oil and gas industry,” he added.</p>
<p>NCA has consistently received phenomenal support from both the city of Laporte and the state level as well, according to Smith. He says the company’s success is only possible because NCA is able to combine the best from both America and Japan, which he highlights is a product of years of trust and mutual respect between both countries.</p>
<p>“Japanese companies will find a lot of support here in Texas, particularly, Japanese businesses that are just starting out and never had a plant or a company in the United States. There’s a big and active community here in Texas that new Japanese businesses can rely on for support and understanding,” said Smith.</p>
<p>With this, Smith encourages Japanese companies to come and visit Texas for further investments and partnerships.</p>

<p>Under the JSA signed on February 8, 2023, the three partners have agreed to explore the prospect of developing an integrated blue and green ammonia production facility in the Port of Corpus Christi. Blue and green ammonia are entirely renewable and its production is carbon-free.</p>
<p>The proposed project will bring together the considerable expertise and resources of the three industry leaders to produce up to 10 million tons of clean ammonia per year. Mitsubishi Corp, RWE, and Lotte Chemical Corp aim to start production and international export, with a focus on Asia and Europe, by 2030.</p>
<p>In a <a href="https://www.mitsubishicorp.com/jp/en/pr/archive/2023/html/0000050759.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">press release</a>, Mitsubishi says it plans to introduce the use of clean ammonia as fuel in Japan by combining its vast knowledge in the field of ammonia and its experience in setting up global energy supply chains. It will later look into such clean energy opportunities globally.</p>
<p>The Port of Corpus Christi is the largest port in the United States based on total revenue tonnage and the U.S.’ largest energy export gateway.</p>',

<p>First observed in 1993, World Water Day is an initiative of the United Nations that is in line with one of its 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which is “to ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all” by 2030.</p>
<p>Toyota, <a href="https://pressroom.toyota.com/toyota-observes-world-water-day/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">in a statement released on March 22,</a> said it recognized the importance of water and the resource was one of its four environmental sustainability focus areas. The carmaker’s water use strategy emphasizes “stewardship,” adding that the use of water must be socially equitable, environmentally sustainable, and economically beneficial.</p>
<p>According to Toyota, it can achieve sustainable water use and management through a process that involves all stakeholders in its on-site and watershed-based actions. Toyota also pointed out it works closely with local environmental groups to protect water quality.</p>
<p>The Japanese company’s commitment to excellent water stewardship is be summarized in 4Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Restore, and Reach Out. Toyota’ has cut its use of freshwater, invested in new technology to reuse water multiple times, worked with local communities and governments to restore and protect sources of water, and reached out to various stakeholders and partners to improve the environment and develop water reduction plans and targets.</p>',
