Just over 10 years old, XMI has steadily built a reputation for producing innovative professional wireless speakers and other portable audio equipment.
Having overcome issues with counterfeiting and backed by a growing base of loyal fans in more than 80 countries around the world, the Singapore-based company is very confident in its plan to expand further in large markets, like the United States and China.
Being a maker of niche products, XMI recognizes that its future growth requires a commitment to keep innovating and a different set of engineering expertise that entails numerous rounds of testing different processes, materials and components.
“We don’t just produce good sound from small audio speakers, but we seek to produce the most energy efficient speakers on earth,” Founder and CEO Ryan Lee said.
In line with its commitment to make excellent sound synonymous with consumer driven innovation, XMI plans to expand into the United States and build a brand that will closely compete against more established names. To achieve this, XMI will form a team of technical support staff, engineers and brand ambassadors to lead its marketing campaigns.
With its strength in engineering and innovation, the company plans to tailor its products to the preferences of U.S. consumers, making them relevant and attractive to a large and diverse market.
XMI is also looking at China and Latin America to sell its portable audio speakers. With its well-known capabilities, XMI will also capitalize on the Singapore brand, which means quality and reliability to many consumers around the world.
“Being a Singaporean company is a huge advantage. As a country, we are a good brand and we are in the hardware area of the world, I’m sure we’re going to succeed,” Lee said.
