“Creativity can be limitless once you have found a way to detach yourself from existing conventions and start to overcome the limits of your own creativity,” said Wladimir Arutti, chief designer of the up and coming premium label Arutti.
Wladimir and Georg Arutti are brothers who could not be more different from each other. But after a phase of self-discovery, they got together and founded the fashion label Arutti in 2016. During his time at the design academy, Wladimir was already refusing to get inspired by existing ideas and trends. Instead, he wanted to be become a designer independent of any trend and created his unique products.
While at the academy, Wladimir was winning various competitions, always striving to create his own designs through constant product development and frequent experimentation. A fondness of architectural design elements, particularly the pyramid, is easily detectable in his fashion.
“A pyramid makes everything more roundish,” explains Arutti, who is able to integrate geometrical forms into fashion and accessories to form one harmonious overall image. The Arutti brand, going against industry convention, merges haute couture and prêt à porter fashion.
Arutti draws his motivation from the ability to realize seemingly non-executable designs and define new boundaries of feasibility. Remaining true to its philosophy, the label creates designs that are both exciting and affordable and make the world a little more beautiful every day.
