Founded in 1879, St Lawrence College is a British independent day and boarding school that provides first class education for boys and girls aged 3 to 18 years. Located near the coast in Ramsgate, Kent, it was one of 14 initial schools to have earned the “world class” accolade among the more than 70 around the world that have now signed up to the High Performance Learning (HPL) scheme.
St Lawrence College offer a broad, challenging curriculum that focusses on core educational skills and provides a stimulating, inspiring learning environment for its pupils, while helping in the development of a strong work ethic.
Nearly all its graduates choose to pursue university education and secure places in prestigious educational institutions, like the Oxbridge and Russell Group universities.

The school is currently headed by Barney Durrant, who previously was principal deputy head at an international school in Hong Kong for almost 8 years. He is a graduate of University College London and obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Cambridge.
