Ever since 1989, human resources consultancy Experd has recruited top talent for Indonesia’s largest companies and developed training programs for their existing staff, mindful that its mission is to raise the country’s manpower to world standards.
Founder and President Director Eileen Rachman, a finalist for the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women 2011, said: “Investors need to have a local partner with international standards. Not only in language, but also in mindset.”
Its clients have included those in government – Bank Indonesia, the country’s central bank, and SKK Migas, the special task force for Indonesia’s upstream oil and gas business – and oil and gas giants Total E&P Indonesia and ConocoPhillips.
To date, it has more than 150 clients, both domestic and multinational, who operate across a very wide range of industries.
Capitalizing on its extensive experience, Jakarta-based Experd expanded its services to include job profiling, proficiency assessment, employee coaching, company culture development, and leadership workshops.
Rachman said: “After the oil crisis, our customers like SKK Migas and ConocoPhillips were moving from recruitment to coaching managers. And I changed my services toward that direction.”
